I had my first visit to the Dental Office on Red Hill with Dr. Saikaly who diagnosed an issue with a couple of old root canaled teeth that I had just told before was due to gum recession. Using their CBCT, she was able to see growing infection in and around the roots of these teeth that needed to addressed leading to a complete reduction in the sensitivity I was having! Dr. Smith also fit me in to complete the placement of a new crown over the root canal procedure the same day to avoid any discomfort. It was great having all the treatment done the same day! Doria, the hygienist was awesome! She was very informative and explained in great detail the issues she found in her evaluation that led to the need for the deep cleaning treatment. Having identified areas of gum recession and explaining the issues that this can cause and the link to my oral bacteria and overall health, it was clear that I needed to receive the deep cleaning. I'm grateful to the whole team at this location for their thorough explanations and care they took to help me get back on track and improve my oral care!
